Domestic Violence Council of Anoka County

Mission:
Our mission is to create a community-wide collaboration that will work toward eliminating domestic violence in Anoka County.

Core Values:

  • Violence is never acceptable.
  • Domestic assault is a crime.
  • The perpetuation of domestic violence is a choice.
  • Abusers are responsible for their behavior.
  • Victims/survivors are not to blame for the violence.
  • The dignity and rights of victims/survivors must be publicly supported.
  • Domestic violence is a community problem.
  • All people are to be treated equally and with respect.
  • Everyone has a right to be safe.
