A recent survey of Anoka County residents found that 98% felt that mental health is as important as physical health. “Let’s Talk About It, Anoka County” is a new community program giving the residents of Anoka County the chance to come together and learn about mental health, mental wellness, and suicide prevention. Free and open to the public, the “Let’s Talk About It, Anoka County” project consists of four education and awareness events held in the central, north, south, and eastern sections of Anoka County. The first event was held at Anoka High School in October with the second event following in December at St. Francis High School. Check out this YouTube video to learn more!
